Theatre program helps young people share their stories

Thanks to a Federal Government grant Constable Care Child Safety Foundation (CCCSF) will be delivering our theatre-in-education Theatrical Response Group (TRG) program to young people from Western Australia's African and Islamic communities.

CCCSF will run two theatre programs, one with the Organisation for African Communities in WA and one with Australian Islamic Colleges.

This exciting program involves CCCSF professional actors and directors working with the young people to develop a Forum Theatre performance which explores issues and topics important to participants. The scenarios will be driven by the participants personal experiences and thoughts. The program culminates in a series of public performances around Perth.

The program with Australian Islamic Colleges is currently underway at their Kewdale campus.
