Kennards Hire today show their continued support of the Constable Care Child Safety Foundation’s award-winning safety education programs by extending its long-standing partnership with the organisation.
Now in its eight year of support, Kennards Hire State Business and Development Manager, Craig Durkee and Area Manager, Chris Walkden, presented a cheque for $42,328.00 to support the Foundation’s work in schools and align itself to WA’s first Traffic and Safety school due to open in February 2017.
Constable Care Child Safety Foundation is renowned for their harm-prevention education delivered to thousands of WA school children each year. The Foundation tackles important issues such as cyber bullying, protective behaviours, and violence prevention with primary school students while also exploring more mature topics such as relationship violence, drug and alcohol abuse and crime prevention with high school students.
The important work of CCCSF relies heavily on donations and sponsorship, and Kennards Hire have been a long-term supporter donating annually as part of its ‘’Kennards for Kids’ initiative. Allen Besseling, CEO of Kennards Hire said the Kennards for Kids initiative started to enable the youth in the community to realise their full potential.
David Gribble, CEO of CCCSF was enormously grateful for the continued support. “Without Kennards Hire we would not be able to reach as many children with our safety message as we do today. They are generous not only with money, but in hire equipment as well, and with our new Safety School construction we will certainly aim to keep them busy. Since 2009, Kennards has donated over $150,000 to the Foundation’s programs.
Recently CCCSF launched a new brand identity and website to better reflect the expanded range of services provided to children, youth and families across WA.
